Brazil August current account deficit wider than expected

BRASILIA, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Brazil posted a current account deficit of $302 million in August, central bank data showed on Wednesday, wider than the median analyst forecast of $190 million in a Reuters poll.

The country attracted $5.138 billion in foreign direct investments, below a median estimate of $6.550 billion. (Reporting by Marcela Ayres; Writing by Bruno Federowski)
