Brazil meatpackers Minerva, Marfrig authorized to export to China - filings

BRASILIA, Sept 9 (Reuters) - Brazil meatpackers Minerva and Marfrig said in separate securities filings on Monday that they each have two plants authorized to export beef to China.

Minerva said its two plants have a capacity of 3,500 head of cattle per day, while Marfrig said its two plants are located in the state of Mato Grosso. Shares in the two firms rose 3% and 2%, respectively, in early trading. (Reporting by Jamie McGeever; Editing by Susan Fenton)
