Brazil's JBS says raising chicken exports too much could trigger import taxes

SAO PAULO, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Brazil should avoid increasing chicken exports too much to avoid triggering new import taxes in response, such as one recently imposed by Saudi Arabia, JBS SA chief operating officer Gilberto Tomazoni said on Wednesday.

According to meat industry group ABPA, Brazil’s chicken exports in August will reach about 400,000 tonnes, the best monthly result this year. (Reporting by Ana Mano; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
