Lloyd's of London Brussels gets Monaco licence for Brexit

LONDON, March 5 (Reuters) - Insurance market Lloyd’s of London said on Tuesday its Brussels subsidiary had gained authorisation in Monaco to continue underwriting and reinsurance business after Brexit.

The move was to ensure that business from the territory could continue to be accessed by Lloyd’s members after Britain leaves the European Union on March 29, Lloyd’s said in a market bulletin. (Reporting by Carolyn Cohn; editing by Simon Jessop)
