UK PM May could soften Brexit plans: Daily Telegraph reporter

LONDON, April 2 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May could be preparing to soften some of her Brexit plans, but not her opposition to allowing freedom of movement from the European Union, The Daily Telegraph’s deputy political editor said.

The prime minister is expected to make a statement from her office in Downing Street shortly.

“Hearing rather cryptically that the PM’s statement will represent a softening of her red lines - but not on free movement,” Steven Swinford of The Telegraph said on Twitter.

“Make of that what you will, we’ll know soon enough.” (Reporting By Guy Faulconbridge; editing by Andrew MacAskill)
