Canada home resales fall in May, lowest in over 5 yrs-CREA

OTTAWA, June 15 (Reuters) - Resales of Canadian homes fell 0.1 percent in May from April to the lowest level in more than five years, the Canadian Real Estate Association said on Friday.

The industry group said actual sales, not seasonally adjusted, fell 16.2 percent from a year earlier, while the group’s Home Price Index was up 1.0 percent from May 2017. (Reporting by Andrea Hopkins Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
