CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on energy boost

Oct 8 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Thursday, buoyed by energy stocks as oil prices rose on output shutdowns in the Gulf of Mexico due to Hurricane Delta.
