China to allow imports from more Brazil meatpackers -Brazil minister

BRASILIA, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping has authorized an increase in the number of Brazilian meatpacking plants permitted to export to China, Brazil’s Agriculture Minister Blairo Maggi said in a tweet on Friday. Maggi’s tweet quoted Xi as saying he was “a poster boy” for Brazilian meat. Maggi posted a video thanking those involved but did not elaborate on terms of the agreement.
