Former head of China insurance regulator jailed for 11 years -state media

BEIJING, June 16 (Reuters) - China local court sentenced Xiang Junbo, the former head of China’s insurance regulator to 11 years in prison for graft, the state television reported on Tuesday.

Xiang, the highest-ranking financial regulator investigated for graft, was expelled from the Party in 2017. (Reporting by Lusha Zhang and Se Young Lee, editing by Louise Heavens)
