China to use $14.9 bln from unemployment insurance fund to support jobs

BEIJING, April 30 (Reuters) - China’s state council said on Tuesday it will utilise 100 billion yuan ($14.9 billion) from the country’s unemployment insurance fund as part of its efforts to achieve “relatively full employment”.

The state council, in a statement, said it will keep China’s economic operations within a reasonable range this year and will seek to ease structural problems in employment.
