Growth in China's fiscal spending slows in July

BEIJING, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Government spending in China rose 5.4 percent in July from a year earlier, while revenue increased 11.1 percent, the Ministry of Finance said on Friday.

July's growth rate dropped sharply from 19.1 percent in June, although revenue growth rose from 8.9 percent in that month.

Government spending in the first seven months of the year rose 14.5 percent from a year earlier, while revenues increased 10 percent. (Reporting by Beijing Monitoring Desk)
