Czechs may postpone 5G auction to mid-2020 -CTK

PRAGUE, Dec 17 (Reuters) - The Czech Republic may postpone an auction of 5G network frequencies to mid-2020 from a planned start in January, Industry Minister Karel Havlicek was quoted by CTK news agency as saying on Tuesday.

The country is planning to hold the auction of frequencies in the 700 MHz and 3.5 GHz bands to attract a new operator and boost competition in a market where high prices have long been a gripe of customers and politicians.
