Dec 27 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2100 GMT on Thursday:
** Hong Kong’s NWS Holdings Ltd has agreed to acquire FTLife Insurance Co Ltd for HK$21.5 billion ($2.75 billion) from Beijing-based financial holding firm JD Group, aiming to diversify its business from infrastructure and services.
** Japan’s NEC Corp said it would spend around 136 billion yen ($1.23 billion) to purchase KMD, which is Denmark’s largest IT company.
** Visa Inc is paying 198 million pounds ($250.6 million) to buy Earthport Plc, a British firm that facilitates international transactions for banks and businesses, the U.S.-based payments group said.
** France’s Vinci is taking advantage of a Brexit hit to UK asset prices to buy a majority stake in Britain’s second-busiest airport, London’s Gatwick, for 2.9 billion pounds ($3.7 billion), the construction company said.
** Clean energy investor Glennmont Partners said it had signed a deal to sell its Italian solar power plants to investment fund Tages Capital.
