CORRECTED-Brent crude ends lower as U.S. inventories rise

(Changes “crude fell $1.25” not “$1.24” in second paragraph)

NEW YORK, March 14 (Reuters) - Brent crude futures fell on Wednesday, pressured by data showing U.S. crude stockpiles rose last week and by the dollar’s strength which tempered investor appetite for riskier assets such as oil and industrial metals.

Brent April crude fell $1.25, or 0.99 percent, to settle at $124.97 a barrel, having traded from $124.64 to $126.68. (Reporting by Robert Gibbons; Editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
