Change Capital sells majority stake in French fashion label Paule Ka

PARIS, Sept 6 (Reuters) - Private equity firm Change Capital Partners sold a majority stake in upmarket French fashion Label Paule Ka to Xavier Marie, founder of French home furnishing retailer Maison du Monde, the label said on Wednesday.

Financial terms of the deal as well as the size of the stake sold were not disclosed.

London-based Change Capital bought a majority stake in Paris-based Paule Ka in 2011 before taking full control in 2015.

It will retain a minority stake in the label founded by Serge Cajfinger in 1987 and named after his aunt Paule.

Paule Ka is present in 37 countries through 320 retail points and has a turnover close to 50 million euros.
