Ford to launch eight electric vehicles in Europe this year

(Reuters) - Ford Motor Co said on Tuesday it was launching 17 electric vehicles in Europe by 2024, including eight this year.

The automaker said it expects the majority of its passenger vehicle sales to come from electric vehicles by the end of 2022.

It expects to sell 1 million electric vehicles by then.
