German minister: We have no specific plans to help bust airline Germania

BERLIN, Feb 5 (Reuters) - German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier said he had no specific plans to help airline Germania, which collapsed on Tuesday after it failed to secure financing to meet a short-term cash squeeze, adding that what happened was a function of the market economy.

Altmaier said the government would watch the situation at Germania closely. (Reporting by Michelle Martin Editing by Madeline Chambers)
