France's Klepierre says will not pursue takeover of Hammerson

April 13 (Reuters) - Klepierre does not intend to make an offer for Hammerson after the British company failed to provide “meaningful engagement” after it increased its takeover bid, the French shopping centre operator said on Friday.

Klepierre confirmed that it had made an increased proposal bid of 635 pence per share for Hammerson on a standalone basis.
