FAA says three technicians at Chicago Midway control tower test positive for COVID-19

CHICAGO, March 17 (Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said on Tuesday that three of its technicians at the Chicago Midway air traffic control tower had tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, prompting contingency plans at the airport and other air traffic control facilities across the nation.

In a statement, the FAA said the Midway Control Tower has been cleaned in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that there was no immediate effect on operations but that services could vary. (Reporting by Tracy Rucinski, Editing by Franklin Paul)
