Fed signals annual central bankers' meeting will not be business as usual

April 28 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is “considering the implications” for its annual global central bankers’ confab in August after learning that the historic lodge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where the high-powered gathering usually takes place will not be able to open for the 2020 season.

“We are considering the implications of this announcement for our annual Economic Symposium and will communicate additional details when they are available,” the Kansas City Fed said in an emailed statement. (Reporting by Ann Saphir; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
