Japan approves $15.5 billion reserve spending for coronavirus measures: MOF

TOKYO (Reuters) - The Japanese government approved on Tuesday spending of 1.639 trillion yen ($15.51 billion) from emergency budget reserves for coronavirus countermeasures, the Ministry of Finance said.

The spending includes funds for supporting medical facilities, the government said.
