Poland plans further business compensations as restrictions grow

WARSAW, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Poland will introduce new compensation for restaurant owners and other businesses as they face further coronavirus restrictions to stem the growth in infections, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Friday.

He added that next week the government would decide whether to impose restrictions on the number of people allowed into cemeteries ahead of All Saint’s Day. On that day Poles traditionally flock to visit family graves. (Reporting by Agnieszka Barteczko and Marcin Goclowski, Writing by Joanna Plucinska Editing by Gareth Jones)
