WARSAW, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Poland must expect a significant rise in coronavirus infections, the prime minister’s chief of staff said on Thursday.
“We are still at a moment when we must expect that the number of infections will rise for some time and that this increase will be significant,” Michal Dworczyk told private broadcaster TVN 24.
He said there would be more cases on Thursday than on Wednesday, when the country hit a daily record of 6,526. (Reporting by Pawel Florkiewicz and Alan Charlish; editing by John Stonestreet)
