Russian deputy PM says no need for fresh COVID-19 restrictions

MOSCOW, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Russia can avoid introducing fresh restrictions over the coronavirus pandemic, Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said on Wednesday.

Measures already taken by the authorities and the availability of two Russian vaccines allow the government to say the situation is under control and will not require the introduction of additional restrictions, she told a government meeting.
