WASHINGTON, Oct 2 (Reuters) - U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the plans for continuing government should President Donald Trump become incapacitated remain in place, after Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, and that she should know the results from her own virus test on Friday morning soon.
“This is tragic. It’s very sad,” Pelosi said in an MSNBC interview about Trump’s diagnosis. “Going into crowds unmasked and all the rest was sort of a brazen invitation for something like this to happen.” (Reporting by Lisa Lambert and Doina Chiacu; editing by Jonathan Oatis)
