Ukraine wants talks with IMF, food export curbs to fight virus fallout

KIEV, March 16 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy asked his government on Monday to hold talks with the International Monetary Fund to ask for financial support to counteract the effect of the coronavirus on the economy.

In a special video address, he also asked the government to restrict food exports and outlined a raft of measures to restrict the movement of people, including shutting down rail travel and urging people to stay at home.
