Emirates Airlines orders 4 more Airbus A380 planes

PARIS (Reuters) - Emirates Airlines has reaffirmed its order for 43 Airbus A380 planes and signed a contract for a further four planes, Airbus said on Monday.

Airbus announced the extra Emirates order in a statement which said Emirates Airlines would receive its first A380 aircraft in the third quarter of 2008.

Airbus, which is a unit of European defence and aerospace group EADS, is battling to recover from major delays to its A380 superjumbo project.
