Standard Chartered names Hemant Mishr India mkts head

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Standard Chartered Bank on Tuesday said it has promoted Hemant Mishr as the head of global markets in India.

Mishr will replace Sundeep Bhandari, who will become the regional head of the bank’s North East Asia operations.

Mishr, who was earlier head of financial markets sales for India and South Asia, will lead a team of nearly 100 specialists in various financial market products including foreign exchange, fixed income, commodities and derivatives.
