Activists attack Chinese embassy in Netherlands

BEIJING (Reuters) - The Chinese embassy in the Netherlands has been attacked by exiled pro-Uighur activists who smashed windows, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Tuesday, two days after ethnic unrest in China’s Muslim region of Xinjiang left 156 dead.

In Munich, two unidentified persons threw Molotov cocktails at the Chinese consulate on Monday, ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a news conference.
