Emami says to set up power plant in Ethiopia - official

KOLKATA (Reuters) - Diversified Emami group, which owns personal care company Emami Ltd plans to set up a 200-300 mega watt power plant in Ethiopia with an investment of 10-15 billion rupees in it, a top official said on Wednesday.

“We have already sent a team in Ethipia to look at the possible sites. The final report is expected within three months,” Aditya.V.Agarwal, director told reporters.

The plant could be a hydro or a thrmal power plant, he added.
