DHAKA, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Bangladesh’s annual inflation picked up in September, fuelled by soaring prices of both food and non-food items, the statistics office said on Thursday.

Consumer prices in September rose 5.54 percent from a year earlier, accelerating from a rise of 5.49 percent in the previous month. (Reporting by Ruma Paul; editing by Darren Schuettler)
