TABLE-India's Nayara Energy May Iran oil imports up 11.6 pct y/y - trade

NEW DELHI, June 12 (Reuters) - Iran's key Indian client Nayara Energy, formerly
known as Essar Oil, imported nearly 11.6 percent more oil from Tehran in May
compared with a year ago, according to data from the shipping industry and sources.
Nayara shipped in about 201,500 barrels per day (bpd) of oil from Iran in May,
an increase of 15.2 percent from April, the data showed.
Under pressure from the likely U.S. sanction, Nayara's oil imports from Iran are
set to decline from June, sources told Reuters.
The sources declined to be identified as they were not authorised to speak with
media.
Following are details of Nayara's crude and condensate imports. Volumes are in
1,000 bpd.
