ADVISORY-India markets closed on Wednesday for holiday

BENGALURU, Oct 2 (Reuters) - India’s currency, debt and equity markets are closed on Wednesday, Oct.2, for a public holiday.

Financial markets will resume trading on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The benchmark BSE index closed down 0.94% at 38,305.41 on Tuesday, while the broader NSE index ended 1% lower at 11,359.90.

The 10-year benchmark bond yield ended at 6.66%, while the rupee settled at 71.07 to the dollar.
