India markets closed on Wednesday for public holiday

(Reuters) - India’s financial markets are closed on Wednesday for a public holiday. Markets will resume on Thursday.

The rupee closed at 69.61 per dollar on Tuesday and the 10-year benchmark bond yield ended at 7.5399 percent.

The benchmark BSE index ended up 0.95 percent at a record closing high of 39,275.64.
