Indian markets closed on Tuesday for holiday

(Reuters) - India’s currency, debt and equity markets will remain closed on Tuesday for a holiday.

Financial markets will resume trading on Wednesday, March 11.

On Monday, the NSE Nifty 50 index closed down 4.9% at 10,451.45 and the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex ended 5.17% lower at 35,634.95.
