Indian govt had no outstanding loans from RBI in week to Feb. 21

BENGALURU, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The Indian government had no outstanding loans with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under ways and means advances in the week ended Feb. 21, showed a central bank document released on Friday.

According to the bank’s weekly statistical supplement, the central government had 68.17 billion Indian rupees ($948.52 million) of outstanding loans in the week ended Feb. 14.

State governments had loans worth 12.27 billion rupees from the RBI in the week ended Feb. 21, compared with 84.01 billion rupees in the previous week, the release said.
