India's July oil output falls - govt

Aug 24 (Reuters) - India’s crude oil production in July fell 0.5 percent to 3.06 million tonnes from a year ago, while natural gas output rose 5.7 percent to 2.86 billion cubic metres, provisional data released by the government on Thursday showed.

Refinery production slipped 3.3 percent to 20.53 million tonnes. (Reporting by Arpan Varghese in Bengaluru)
