Indonesia's July retail sales grow 2.4% y/y -c.bank survey

JAKARTA, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Retail sales in Indonesia grew 2.4% in July after a 1.8% decline a month earlier, a central bank survey showed on Tuesday.

Retail sales were mainly backed by the sales of automotive spare parts and accessories as well as food, beverages, and tobacco.

The survey predicted retail sales would rise 3.7% on an annual basis in August around the celebration of the country’s independence day. (Reporting by Tabita Diela; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
