Italian railway opens 1.25 bln euro train tender

ROME, April 5 (Reuters) - Italian national railway operator Ferrovie dello Stato said on Thursday it was opening a 1.25 billion euro tender for 130 local and metropolitan trains.

The tender will include an option on another 60 trains, the state-owned group said.
