TOKYO, Oct 8 (Reuters) - The Bank of Japan on Thursday raised its economic assessment for eight of the country’s nine regions, saying they are starting to rebound or showing signs of a pick-up.
One region maintained its assessment from three months ago.
The assessment was made in the BOJ’s quarterly report on regional areas of Japan. (Reporting by Leika Kihara; Editing by Chris Gallagher)
