Japan April machine tool orders slump 48.3% y/y -industry association

TOKYO, May 14 (Reuters) - Japan’s machine tool orders in April fell 48.3% compared with a year earlier, a preliminary estimate from the Japan Machine Tool Builders’ Association showed on Thursday.

Compared with a month earlier, machine tool orders dropped 27.5%, the data showed.
