Foreign investors sell Japanese shares for 14th straight week, longest on record

SYDNEY, May 21 (Reuters) - Foreigners sold a net 404.9 billion yen ($3.8 billion) of Japanese stocks last week, data from Japan Exchange Group showed on Thursday, marking the 14th consecutive week of selling, the longest on record.

Foreign investors sold 129.6 billion yen of Japanese cash equities and 275.3 billion yen of futures in the week of May 11-15. They have been net sellers since early February. ($1 = 107.7000 yen) (Reporting by Tomo Uetake; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
