Jan 9 (Reuters) - Lennar Corp, the second-largest U.S. homebuilder, on Wednesday reported a quarterly profit that more than doubled, helped by the acquisition of CalAtlantic homes.
Net income attributable to Lennar rose to $796.1 million, or $2.42 per share, in the fourth quarter ended Nov. 30, from $309.6 million, or $1.29 per share, a year earlier.
Excluding items, Lennar earned $1.96 per share.
