China shares end down 0.2 pct on dashed stimulus hopes

SHANGHAI, May 30 (Reuters) - Chinese shares ended down 0.2 percent on Wednesday, dragged down by media reports which dampened market hopes that Beijing is considering another massive stimulus programme.

The Shanghai Composite Index finished at 2,384.7 points, after rising 1.2 percent on Tuesday. (Reporting by Chen Yixin and Pete Sweeney; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
