Euro falls 1 pct on day vs yen to 4-week low

LONDON, April 5 (Reuters) - The euro extended losses on Thursday, falling one percent on the day against the Japanese yen to a four-week low as rising Spanish and Italian bond yields put the single currency under broad selling pressure.

The single currency fell to 107.047 yen on EBS trading platform, marking its weakest since early March. Traders earlier cited talk of selling by a UK clearer.
