FRANKFURT, Nov 28 (Reuters) - German aircraft engine maker MTU Aero Engines on Thursday said it will grow in its civil aviation division next year, boosted by its new engine and spare parts businesses as well as by its maintenance unit.
“For 2020, MTU is anticipating an increase in operating profit in the high single-digit percentage range,” the company said.
With MTU’s military engine business seen stable alongside civil aviation activities, there were promising prospects for all segments in the longer term, said Chief Executive Reiner Winkler in a statement.
“This puts us on track to maintain our course of profitable growth going forward,” he added. (Reporting by Vera Eckert, editing by Tassilo Hummel)
