Nagpur Foodgrain Prices – APMC/Open Market-November 12, 2019 Nagpur, Nov 12 (Reuters) – Gram prices recovered again in Nagpur Agriculture Producing and Marketing Company (APMC) here on good demand from local millers weak supply from producing regions. Fresh hike on NCDEX in gram, upward trend in Madhya Pradesh pulses and reported demand from South-based millers also boosted prices. About 400 bags of gram reported for auctions here, according to sources.
* Gram varieties ruled steady in open market here but demand was poor.
TUAR * Tuar varieties quoted static in open market here on subdued demand from local
traders.
* Lakhodi dal recovered in open market here on increased demand from
local traders amid weak supply from producing belts.
* In Akola, Tuar New – 5,600-5,800, Tuar dal (clean) – 8,500-8,700, Udid Mogar (clean)
– 9,000-10,000, Moong Mogar (clean) 8,800-9,800, Gram – 4,350-4,550, Gram Super best
– 6,200-6,400 * Wheat, rice and other foodgrain items moved in a narrow range in
scattered deals and settled at last levels in weak trading activity.
