WELLINGTON, Feb 13 (Reuters) - New Zealand house prices rose an annual 2.9 percent in January to an average value of NZ$684,468 ($461,126.09), government valuer Quotable Value (QV) said on Wednesday.
* Slowdown from 3.2 percent annual growth in December
* Property value dipped 0.9 percent in the Auckland region
