RBNZ says no further easing on mortgage lending restrictions until at least the end of 2018

WELLINGTON, May 30 (Reuters) - Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) governor Adrian Orr said on Wednesday that the bank would likely not ease its mortgage lending restrictions for another six months.

Orr made the comments at a media conference on the RBNZ’s financial stability report in which it said the system was sound but risks remained from household and dairy debt and the impact of rising international interest rates.
