China commends North, South Korea efforts on ties after summit set

BEIJING (Reuters) - China commended on Thursday efforts to improve ties by North and South Korea and said it hopes positive momentum can be sustained, after a date was set for the first summit between the two countries in more than a decade.

Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang made the comments at a regular briefing.
